Father’s Day Reflections: The Greatest Journey of My Life
I Am so grateful to Be a Father, and my initiation into Fatherhood happened two days after my 40th birthday, on 10 August 2013, when Sophia was born at home in West Asheville! She opened my heart in ways I didn’t even know was possible. She will soon be a teenager, and I am amazed at how much she has grown and matured during this time period.
And, I have had the honor of becoming a father a 2nd time, when Malakai was born on 19 January of this year. He is such a bright, active, and loving boy. i Am Being reminded of the powerful and challenging journey that the Fatherhood Initiation can Be.
Becoming a Father has been the most profound experience of my life, and I am forever grateful! I have been transformed and grown in ways beyond my wildest imagination.
Sophia and Malakai, you bring me so much Love and Joy – I love you both so much!
